Small VinFast models set the pace.
Asia contains different markets. Here we show one manufacturer’s deliveries in Vietnam as an explicitly limited reference.
Explore Asia beyond China →Manufacturer announcement; may include fleets. Not a ranking of all brands or the entire continent.
A national sample for a diverse region
VinFast reports 175,099 electric vehicles delivered in Vietnam during 2025.
The table shows its most delivered models in that country and includes vehicles intended for commercial use. These manufacturer figures allow us to study Vietnam, but they do not establish a ranking for Asia excluding China. They also do not constitute a count of every manufacturer present in each Asian market.
[S11]An individual purchase has its own logic
Editorial perspective: define how many seats you need, where you will park and which journeys you will make. When a model stands out in fleet deliveries, check how its available version fits the family use you have in mind. The table helps discover candidates; a test drive and budget help select them.
Request warranty, maintenance and assistance terms in your country. Also review the equipment and connectivity of the local version. To compare cities, keep separate budgets: turn each offer into a monthly cost before deciding which scenario fits your income and spending.

Build a week of use for each city you are considering. Locate where you would charge, check the price available to you and work out how much time you would spend. If the offer includes a charging benefit, keep its terms and also calculate the cost once it ends.
Our editorial approach uses common units for energy and keeps local currencies for the budget. When comparing ranges, identify the test cycle and version in each specification before ranking cars. Then compare consumption and space against equivalent needs. This method lets you use a case study such as Vietnam without automatically transferring its conclusions to Japan, India or another market.
